THIS IS A SCHEDULED EVENT May 2 , 17:00 - 18:00 PDT Feb 2 , 15:42 PST Scheduled - Zoom will be enforcing a new minimum version of all our Zoom clients and plugins, roughly 90 days from now on on May 2, 2026: Zoom will be enforcing a new minimum version for the following areas, approximately 90 days from now on May 2, 2026: • Zoom Rooms (Windows, macOS, iPad, appliances, iOS and Android controllers) • Zoom Node (including Meeting Connector MMR) Additionally, beginning with the May 2026 enforcement, Zoom will require a minimum version for Zoom Meeting Hybrid - MMR. All other clients and plugins not listed here will maintain the same version requirements as the February 2026 enforcement. During the maintenance window, a brief disconnection may be experienced and notifications may be missed. If you get disconnected, the system will attempt to reconnect you automatically. Mumbai - 28th March 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM IST Hyderabad - 28th March 08:05 PM to 11:59 PM IST If you are a BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) customer, please ensure that your Session Border Controller (SBC) is configured with alternate routing to alternate India (Hyderabad) Data Center in addition to the India (Mumbai) Data Center. During the maintenance window, connectivity to Zoom’s Mumbai Data Center will be blocked which will force calls from the Session Border Controller (SBC) to failover to Zoom’s India (Hyderabad) Data Center. Traffic will continue to be routed through the Zoom's India (Mumbai) Data Center once the maintenance is completed. The same will do for India (Hyderabad) as well. This maintenance introduces the following new features and improvements: Enabled range-based filtering for batch file downloads to support AI-powered workflows. Enhanced file metadata queries to more accurately detect encryption status and infer original file size. Added support for updating existing file content via external links. Fixed an issue where Zoom Clips users could not import pptx files for AI content creation. Fixed an issue where attachments uploaded by KMS-encrypted accounts could silently lose encryption, resulting in unprotected files.
