Jul 31 , 13:32 EDT Scheduled - Scheduled - Ally Reporting API Bearer Token Reset August 14, 2026 As part of planned improvements to the Ally Reporting API, all Reporting API bearer tokens will be reset on Friday August 14, 2026 at 2AM Eastern Time. This is necessary as a first step towards additional updates to the expiration period for these tokens. Who is affected: All users/services authenticating the Ally Reporting API via bearer token. Existing tokens will be invalidated immediately at the time above. (Note – this does not impact your Ally integration settings within the LMS and only applies to the Reporting API if used.) What you need to do: Generate a new bearer token after the maintenance window via the Ally Institutional Report. Update any stored tokens in your reporting applications, scripts, or integrations after this maintenance window. Please note that API/service calls using the old token will return 401 Unauthorized after the reset. The Token reset windows are as follows: Australia and New Zealand Token reset for institutions hosted from the Sydney (Australia) AWS Data Center will take place on Friday 14th from 4pm-5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Asia Token reset for institutions hosted from the Singapore AWS Data Center will take place on Friday 14th August from 2pm-3pm Singapore Time. Europe Token reset for institutions hosted from the Frankfurt (Germany) AWS Data Center will take place on Friday 14th August from 8am-9am Central European Time / 7am-8am UK time. Canada Token reset for institutions hosted from the Montreal (Canada Central) AWS Data Center will take place on Friday 14th August from 2am-3am Eastern Time / 11pm-12am (13th August) Pacific Time. United States Token reset for institutions hosted from the North Virginia (US-East-1) AWS Data Center will take place on Friday 14th August from 2am-3am Eastern Time / 11pm-12am (13th August) Pacific Time.

Each region will have a brief maintenance window during which annotation may be affected — the service itself remains available outside these windows. What to expect during your region's window: During the upgrade window for your region, instructors annotating a document may see slow document rendering and may be temporarily unable to add comments. No annotation data will be lost. Normal performance resumes once the update completes for your region.
